We’d like to know what you think about the draft planMARC has spent two years working with area planners and elected officials, and using citizen input to develop Transportation Outlook 2040, the Kansas City region’s next long-range transportation plan. This important plan will guide transportation investments over the next three decades. The draft plan is based on providing more travel choices, a well-maintained system, better connected land-use and transportation policies, environmentally sound decisions, and quality places to live and work. As the planning organization for metro Kansas City, the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is required to develop a long-range transportation plan that guides transportation decision making and funding decisions over a period of several decades. Transportation Outlook 2040 will be the region's new plan looking ahead to the next 30 years. |
