What We've Heard

The circumstances we're in as we develop Transportation Outlook 2040 are different than those we've experienced in previous planning cycles. Our economy continues to struggle toward recovery; we have growing concerns about energy availability and cost; interest in environmental protection — both local and global — is stronger than ever; and we see a growing desire to create vibrant, livable places — all of which are integral to becoming a more sustainable region.
