WE'RE FACING SOME BIG CHALLENGES OVER THE NEXT 30 YEARS.
This is an exciting time to rethink how we plan and invest in Greater Kansas City's system for moving people and goods. You have a stake in this. We're talking about your commute!
When it comes to transportation, citizens say they want more travel choices, a well-maintained system, better connected land-use and transportation policies, environmentally sound decisions, and quality places to live and work.
So how do we get there? MARC is working with planners and using citizen input to develop strategies that could help accomplish these goals through Transportation Outlook 2040, the region's new long-range transportation plan. This important plan will guide transportation investments over the next three decades.
We need your help to improve — or think of new and inventive — ideas for achieving them.
