911 Peer Support Advisory Committee

The 911 Peer Support Advisory Committee is a sub-committee of the Public Safety Communications Board and is primarily composed of individuals representing various public safety answering points and mental health professionals with a first responder background. Their responsibilities include establishing, reviewing and revising training requirements and program procedures. They also ensure compliance with the program’s procedure governing confidentiality.

 

Membership

Membership classifications for this committee are set by the Regional 911 Telecommunicator Peer Support Policy and application process. 


Meetings

The 911 Peer Support Advisory Committee currently meets virtually on an as-needed basis as determined by the co-chairs.
