The MARC Solid Waste Management District is soliciting FY-2009 grant applications from city and county governments, businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and other interested parties to promote waste reduction, reuse and recycling.
The district’s objective is to provide start-up costs for sustainable projects that will divert waste from the landfill.
All projects must be located within the district, which represents Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties of Missouri.
