The Air Quality Forum is a policy committee composed of local elected officials, air quality and transportation agency personnel, and business and community group representatives. The Forum reviews regional air quality issues and makes policy recommendations regarding those issues to the MARC Board of Directors and the states of Kansas and Missouri.
There are 31 seats on the Forum. Local governments occupy 21 seats, four are held by state air and transportation agencies, three by business and economic development concerns and three are designated for health and environmental groups.
Meetings
The Forum meets at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are generally held in the MARC offices, 600 Broadway, Suite 200. Meetings are open to the public.
