Clean Air Action Plan

CAAP Update Page 1The Clean Air Action Plan is a voluntary strategy to reduce ozone-forming and greenhouse gas emissions in the Kansas City region, both in the near future and long term. With the commitments of local governments, organizations and individuals, the actions outlined by the plan can help reduce ozone pollution and facilitate the region's clean-air status.

The plan was originally released in 2005, and updated through a public/stakeholder process from 2010 to 2011.

The plan won a 2006 Clean Air Excellence Award in the Regulatory/Policy Innovations category.
