Ozone season summaries
MARC tracks local ozone monitor readings and provides data summaries to the community. These annual reports cover violations of the Environmental Protection Agency’s health-based standard for ozone in the Kansas City region and contain summaries of seasonally issued SkyCasts. Public Awareness Survey reports
Each year, MARC conducts a survey of residents in the metropolitan Kansas City area. This survey evaluates residents’ awareness of quality issues and participation in air quality improvement actions.
Clean Air Action Plan
The Clean Air Action Plan is the Kansas City region's comprehensive, community-based voluntary strategy for reducing ozone pollution.
State Implementation Plans (SIP)
The Clean Air Act and the Environmental Protection Agency require that the Kansas City metro area develop a plan to maintain ozone pollution at concentrations below the health-based standard.
