Composting for businesses

Any school, organization or business that generates food and/or food production waste can participate in the Food Residual Environmental Diversion (FRED) Program offered by Missouri Organic Recycling (MOR) & Environmental Concepts & Designs, Ltd. (EC&D).

How it works: Special containers will be placed in cafeterias or other selected areas for collecting wastes. The food waste will be picked up as needed and taken to MOR for composting.

EC&D can also provide training and education to fit specific needs and can perform a specific waste audit to determine potential recovery, recycling and/or savings that can be achieved.
