Local governments in the metro area have already been working together on a range of sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency.
Through a collaborative process, local governments are prepared to work together on an initial regional energy efficiency and conservation strategy to guide both the investment of the Recovery Act funds and guide future expenditures.
MARC will continue to work with local governments and
regional organizations coordinate energy efficiency activities related
to the recovery act.
