Law Enforcement Communication Coordination
Overview
MARC is working with a number of local law enforcement agencies to explore the potential use of recovery act funds for a demonstration project to connect the Public Safety Answer Points (PSAPs) and local Emergency Operations Centers together to a newly installed microwave radio system using wireless technology.
The second project is to continue to build out the regional interoperability communication system developed under the regional Homeland Security program.
