2015 Grantees and Projects

The Planning Sustainable Places (PSP) program continues the work of the Creating Sustainable Places initiative and the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan, Transportation Outlook 2040, to promote concepts consistent with sustainable communities and the advancement of site-specific and project-specific activities within the centers-and-corridors planning framework.

This year's grantees are located within the MARC eight-county metropolitan planning organization (MPO) boundary. Projects are classified into one of three categories: Sustainable Places Plans, Project Development or Implementation Activities.

The 2015 PSP grantees include 13 planning projects from across the region:

  • 3 Sustainable Places plans
  • 7 Project Implementation activities
  • 3 Project Development activities
