Sustainable Success Story Honoree: Johnson County Sunset Building |
The Mid-America Regional Council in collaboration with the Kansas City chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Planning Association (APA), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), presented the selected sustainable success stories on December 2, 2008.
These programs were selected through a Call
for Successful Sustainable Projects. They exemplify the great progress
that has been made in the Kansas City region and surrounding areas.
Attendees learned more about their successful approaches and to celebrate
our progress in becoming "America's
Green Region."
