2009 Sustainable Success Story Honoree: 405 Southwest Boulevard |
The Mid-America Regional Council joined with the 4-A Collaborative, an organization representing allied planning and design professions in the metro area, to highlight and promote exemplary sustainability-related policies, programs, practices or projects applicable to the nine-county Kansas City region of Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri.
Project honorees were selected through a Call
for Successful Sustainable Projects. They exemplify the great progress
that has been made in the Kansas City region and surrounding areas.
Attendees learned more about honorees successful approaches and our progress in becoming "America's
Green Region."
