KC•Connect SENIORS is a free, confidential, information and assistance program.

We provide information and referral services to callers who do not know where to turn for help, whether it is for a neighbor, a client, a relative or for themselves.

KC•Connect SENIORS can connect you to the appropriate agency through a conference call. This way, we can make sure you receive prompt and easy access to services you need.

KC•Connect SENIORS phone lines are answered from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

After hours and on weekends, you may leave a message and we’ll call you back the next business day.

You can also send questions by e-mail to any of the department staff.

What types of questions can they answer?

“My elderly father needs to get out of the house and do something. Where can he go?”

“I need transportation to the doctor’s office. Who can help?”

“I think my neighbor has abused his elderly mother. What should I do?”

“My mother wants to file for her tax rebate. Where does she go?”

“I have cancer. Is there a group I can meet with who shares similar problems?”

“My grandson is living with us. He has been getting in trouble at school. I think he needs counseling. Where can we go?”

Who provides the program?

KC•Connect SENIORS is a program sponsored by the Mid-America Regional Council’s Department of Aging Services.

Our Area Agency on Aging serves seniors in Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties.
