Volunteer Opportunities with Aging Services
Volunteers are a crucial part of the success of the aging network. Current volunteer opportunities include:
- Commission on Aging
- Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program - This program provides trained volunteers to visit area nursing homes and assist residents with resolving concerns they may have regarding their quality of life or quality of care.
- Silver-Haired Legislature - promotes conscientious legislative advocacy for Missouri's older adults.
- SORT Program - Uses volunteers to fight fraud and abuse through public education and individual billing reviews.
