Aging Services invites you to Show Me Summit on Aging and Health

MARC’s Aging Services department — the Area Agency on Aging for Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri — invites senior citizens, senior caregivers and other interested professionals to attend the fifth annual Show Me Summit on Aging and Health from October 27-29 at the Holiday Inn Select Executive Center in Columbia, Mo.

The theme for the 2008 summit is “Celebrate Aging — Expect the Best.” The keynote speaker will be Richard Browdie, president and CEO of Benjamin Rose, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people through community-based and residential care, research, education and advocacy.

The summit is sponsored by the Missouri Alliance of Area Agencies on Aging in collaboration with Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. For registration and more information, visit www.showmesummit.com. Discounted rates are available for those who register by September 15.
