Board members discuss regional issues with representatives in Washington, D.C.

During a recent visit to Washington, D.C., several members of the MARC Board of Directors met with the region’s congressional delegation. Discussion focused on issues important to the metropolitan area such as funding for transportation and stormwater projects, programs to meet the needs of a growing elderly population, and support for homeland security initiatives.
