MARC offers rain garden workshops for government staff and environmental professionals

Two “train-the-trainer” rain garden workshops are scheduled for April 18.

The morning workshop is designed for parks and recreation, planning, and public works staff and will cover garden design and construction in public areas as well as lessons learned from other communities.

The afternoon workshop will provide detailed how-to information for master gardeners, ecologists, landscape architects, and education and outreach staff planning to teach others how to construct residential rain gardens.
