The Indian Creek Hike/Bike Trail is almost 17 miles long (about 10 miles are in Overland Park).

The Overland Park portion starts at the Foxhill South Park (109th and Elmonte) and follows the creek south and west to the Forest Creek Park at (125th and Pflumm). A connecting link continues south along Quivira towards the Tomahawk Creek Trail via 127th and Nieman.

The trails are designed for bicyclists, walkers, joggers, skaters, etc. Dogs are allowed on leashes.

The terrain is generally level and flat. There are some steep grades for short of the trail.

“It is paved, but can still be challenging in places, with sharp turns and steep, but short hills. The scenery is nice and makes you feel like you're in the middle of the woods when you're usually very near to I-435. Plus one of its end points (at Quivira and 119th St.) is near a great bike shop.”
