This Institute of Transportation Engineers webinar provides an advanced look at access management from the perspective of the transportation planner. Topics include: principles that define the practice of access management, typical public concerns and how to convey the benefits of access management to the public, the relationship of access management to sustainability and other planning objectives, and how to develop an access management plan or program, including resources for further information. The instructors will also discuss state DOT, MPO and local government roles in access management, as well as legal and implementation considerations and lessons learned.
