2010 Hazard Mitigation Plan
MARC prepared a Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan in 2004 to help cities and counties on the Missouri side of the metro area identify ways to reduce risks from disaster events. Forty participating jurisdictions and school districts recently completed an update to the plan as a prerequisite to apply for certain FEMA pre-and post disaster funding. The plan was submitted to SEMA on January 29, 2010, for final review and can be accessed below.
