2010 Hazard Mitigation Plan
MARC prepared a Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan in 2004 to help cities and counties on the Missouri side of the metro area identify ways to reduce risks from disaster events.
Forty-four participating jurisdictions and school districts recently completed an update to the plan as a prerequisite to apply for certain FEMA pre-and post disaster funding. The plan was approved by FEMA on August 31, 2010. This update will expire on August 31, 2015.
