Cooperative Purchasing

MARCER coordinates a cooperative purchasing program that allows EMS agencies to save money on the purchase of more than 285 pre-hospital supply items, including medications. MARCER solicited bids from medical supply firms, reviewed bids submitted by potential vendors, and selected Alliance Medical as the firm that offered the best overall prices and terms and conditions. MARCER's current agreement with Alliance Medical continues through July 2007. For a price list or more information about the program, contact Mike Hicks at 816/701-8232. All MARCER members and associate members in good standing are eligible to participate in the program.

Missouri Ambulance Reporting Form

The MARCER Committee has also produced an 11" x 17" version of the Missouri Ambulance Reporting Form (see sample) to meet the needs of area EMS agencies and address the state reporting requirements. The form is modeled after one prepared by Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust (MAST) for use in the Kansas City area (forms produced after May of 2003 comply with new HIPPA guidelines).

MARCER has negotiated a discounted quantity price on the four part forms. The forms are available to EMS agencies in both Missouri and Kansas. Prices are discounted for MARCER members. Orders should be placed through the Mid-America Regional Council.  The forms are shipped from the T.R. Burke warehouse in Lenexa, Kansas. MARC will invoice the agency placing the order once it receives indication that the order has been shipped. To order forms, please contact Tanya Kraatz, at 816/701-8342, or order online.
