MEMC Plans Subcommittee

Scope of Work:

Finalize and distribute the KCMMRS Metropolitan Medical Response System Plan.
Develop a Regional Coordination Guide which includes coordination of public information and which may serve as a catastrophic incident annex to local emergency operations plans.
Develop a regional framework for evacuation planning.
Oversee a process for updating regional plans.
Oversee the planning dollars budget from the UASI program to ensure federal planning requirements are met and used to support regional planning efforts.
Support a pilot Continuity of Operations Plan planning project
Work with the Jackson County Medical Examiners Office and other appropriate agencies to identify additional mass fatality management planning and coordination needed.
Ensure that regional planning efforts are comprehensive and take into account goals outlined in the UASI strategy plan.
