OUR PHILOSOPHY

KCEEN member organizations serve various constituencies in Kansas and Missouri through programs designed to promote critical thinking and responsible decision making. These skills are essential for Kansas City-area students to become more aware of and empowered to address regional environmental issues. Because environmental issues cross state lines and the borders of our cities, counties and school districts, KCEEN partnerships strengthen environmental education programs and resources across the Kansas City area.
