2008 SWMD Meeting Schedule

The MARC Solid Waste Management District’s meetings are generally held the third Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in the MARC offices, 600 Broadway, Suite 200, Kansas City, Mo. The dates and location may change upon discretion of the district chair with proper notice to the members.

Executive Board meetings are held monthly to conduct the regular business of the district. Management Council meetings are held jointly with the Executive Board every other month starting in February. These joint meetings allow better input and topical discussions with the full Management Council. The annual meeting and strategic planning retreat are generally held in lieu of a regular full council meeting.

National EPA Resource Conservation Challenge Web Academy: Solid Waste & Recycling Forums held the third Thursday of the month. Special sessions hosted locally by the MARC SWMD and Region 7 EPA may include local panel discussions and follow up workshops and forums.
