School bus retrofits
Clean Buses | Healthy Kids was a partnership of area school districts that purchased school bus emissions-reduction equipment with federal and state grants from 2007 to 2009.
The following districts participated in the retrofit program:
Blue Springs; Blue Valley; Bonner Springs/Edwardsville; Center; Grain Valley; Grandview; Kansas City, Kan.; Lee’s Summit; Liberty; North Kansas City; Olathe; Park Hill; Desoto; Gardner/Edgerton; and Independence.
