This traditional ranch home was given new life by architects Matt Van Becelaere and Kathleen Simmons from HOM Unique Design Solutions. The original space had outdated finishes and appliances, and four bedrooms crammed into 1,500 square feet.
The remodeled home features an updated kitchen, living room, master bedroom, master bathroom suite and bathroom. The plumbing, electrical wiring and windows were also replaced. The design team worked to address modern preferences like expanded kitchens and master suites.

Kitchen
The original space was actually the master bedroom and the small kitchen. The space was converted into a large functional kitchen after a wall was taken down between the old bedroom and the old kitchen. Hardwood floors, new cabinets, and new appliances highlight the open feel of the room.

Bathrooms
The designers demolished one bedroom to create a large master suite with a walk-in closet. The updated master bathroom features dual vanities, a separate water closet and indirect cove lighting.
