Addressing the Needs of the Growing Hispanic Population
Equip your organization to better understand the fastest growing ethnic group in the region. Over half of the population growth in the metro area is attributed to Hispanics, which can present language and cultural barriers for a variety of government agencies. Field employees and managers alike will benefit from understanding barriers, cultural differences and expectations of this group.
Upon completion, employees will understand what processes may need to be evaluated in their respective organizations in order to better serve Spanish-speaking residents.
In addition, participants will benefit from cross-cultural exercises and real-life examples that will drive home the need for cultural awareness and understanding.
