Administrative Professionals Certificate Program

Today's Administrative Professional must possess a broader range and depth of skills than ever before. Not only do these staff members serve as front-line customer service specialists for both external and internal customers, they must be leaders, innovators, researchers and technology troubleshooters.

The GTI Administrative Professionals Certificate Program will help you develop and hone your skills and prepare you to better handle these varied job responsibilities or take new responsibilities.

Who Should Participate?

The Administrative Professionals Certificate Program is designed specifically for senior secretaries, administrative professionals, clerks and other government employees whose main job is to directly support management. If you would like to develop better working relationships with your immediate manager and coworkers, develop your strengths, improve your communication skills - both written and verbal, build your problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills as well as your leadership skills, this certificate program is for you.

It's our goal that you learn and retain the information provided. Learning is easier and more effective in a fun and relaxed environment, so that's what we provide. These sessions are designed to help you develop skills and provide needed information as you participate in class. Enjoyable activities will help you learn and practice in a safe environment. Curriculum

Participants must complete three core courses and two electives to earn certification.

Graduates of the GTI Customer Service Certificate program may have already earned up to 14 hours credit towards this certificate if they have completed "Understanding Yourself and Others," "Resolving Conflicts with C.L.A.S.S.," and/or "Survival Skills for Stressful Times."
