Negotiation ≠ confrontation. Assuming a winner and a loser in negotiation is harmful to the real goal of mutual advantage. Successful negotiators aim to make people on both sides of the table equally happy about an outcome. This is especially key when there is — or will be — a long-term relationship involved.
In this workshop you will learn and practice a step-by-step model for effective negotiations.
Negotiations will teach:
- Basic principles of negotiation
- How to build relationships through the negotiation process
- Ways to create successful partnerships with co-workers, friends and family
