On-site Training: Personal Strengths and Leadership Styles
Have you ever wondered why some people just can't seem to work together? Do you chalk it up to personality differences and try to make them get along? There is another way.
This session uses the Strength Deployment Inventory self-assessment instrument to help participants discover the strengths they use when things are going well and learn how to adjust in conflict situations. Participants will also learn a conceptual framework to help "figure out" other people and what their strengths might be. This increased understanding of what motivates people will lead to more effective strategies in working together.
Personal Strengths and Leadership Skills will help participants:
- Appreciate their — and other's — strengths and how they use them
- Increase awareness of how they work with others, what motivates them and what kinds of working relationships they find satisfying
- Develop strategies on how their strengths can be used with others' strengths to build effective teams
