Bloodborne Pathogens
OSHA requires that all employees who might be exposed to blood or other body fluids during the course of their work receive training in bloodborne pathogens. Attendees will receive training in bloodborne pathogen recognition, safety procedures to avoid exposure to bloodborne pathogens, and proper handling and disposal of potential bloodborne pathogens. Attendees will become familiar with the requirements of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Regulation as it pertains to development of a written program, labeling issues, training requirements and vaccination issues.
