Permit-Required Confined-Space Entry
This course covers OSHA’s stringent guidelines concerning confined space areas. OSHA Standard 1910.146 requires employers to develop and implement a comprehensive program to minimize risk when working in confined spaces. This course is designed to increase knowledge of hazards associated with confined space entry.
Topics include permit space hazards, entry procedures, ventilation requirements, personal protective equipment, and permit system. Attendees will learn how to properly calibrate and use various testing instruments as well. This course is designed for safety personnel, supervisors and those required to perform entry operations at work.
