Basic Government Fund Accounting
This 12-hour course will be conducted on three consecutive Friday afternoons.
Through lecture, discussion and in-class exercises, we’ll cover accounting concepts, definitions of terms, governmental, proprietary and fiduciary funds, financial reporting, debt service and fund accounting principles for capital projects. Changes resulting from the implementation of GASB-34 will be integrated throughout the course.
