eHealthAlign

What is eHealthAlign?

eHealthAlign is a non-profit health information exchange organization. The mission of eHealthAlign is to enhance access, quality, safety and the efficiency of health care through the implementation of a secure, integrated, interoperability health information exchange that supports the data needs of authorized users across organizational boundaries. This is a community collaborative working to enhance health care through a secure exchange of health information.

eHealthAlign is locally directed and governed by recognized community leaders. MARC provides support to the incubation and development of this organization.

What will eHealthAlign do?

eHealthAlign will help the community address the problem described above by providing a technology network that allows health information to be securely shared between health care providers and their patients/consumers to support a higher quality of care and patient safety. eHealthAlign will facilitate the exchange of health information in the region to improve the quality of health care, reduce the cost of health care and enhance care coordination.

The eHealthAlign effort is led by a Formational Board of Directors. Meetings are held on a monthly basis.
