Quality Initiatives Advisory Committee
The Quality Initiatives Advisory Committee (QIAC) reviews applications from area early learning programs to the Quality Initiatives Fund and provides input and recommendations to the Metropolitan Council on Early Learning for the approval of quality improvement mini-grants.
The committee meets twice a year, at the end of each application cycle. Funding for quality improvement mini-grants currently is supported through local foundation dollars from the Hall Family Foundation, the Francis Families Foundation and the George K. Baum Family Foundation.
