Quality Rating System Participants

As of October 1, 2005, 96 area early learning programs are participating in the QRS pilot project.

Participants include:

Cass County, Mo.: one early learning center
Clay County, Mo.: one early learning center and one family child care home
Jackson County, Mo.: 26 early learning centers and 24 family child care homes
Johnson County, Kan.: 14 early learning centers and five family child care homes
Leavenworth County, Kan.: three early learning centers
Wyandotte County, Kan.: 13 early learning centers and eight family child care homes

MCEL plans to expand the QRS program to 120 programs over the next year, and to 250 over the next three years.
