Cass County winning carpool will enjoy grand prize limo ride tomorrow, April 29

A four-person carpool from Cass County was named Friday’s grand prize-winning carpool. Carol Gardner of Peculiar, Mo.; Cathy Richardson and Lana Wright of Harrisonville, Mo.; and Pat Spangler of Adrian, Mo., travel approximately 70 miles round-trip sharing the ride to the Sprint Campus and other employers based in Overland Park, Kan.

The four women won the final contest drawing after submitting correct answers to the following brain-busting trivia questions. They will enjoy their luxury limo ride — or “limopool” — to work tomorrow, Thursday, April 29, courtesy of Pech Limousine. They are expected to arrive at the Sprint campus at approximately 7:45 a.m.

Seventy-four carpools representing 185 commuters in Greater Kansas City competed in the region’s first Smartest Carpool contest this week, hosted by the Mid-America Regional Council’s RideShare program. The contest challenged area carpools to tackle transportation trivia on the morning commute for a chance to be entered in daily prize drawings.
