Officials to announce new initiatives within Green Impact Zone
What: U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver and Green Impact Zone officials will announce new initiatives for energy conservation and home rehabilitation within the Green Impact Zone:
- Launch of the Green Impact Zone Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program
- Transfer of properties from Wells Fargo Bank to the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council for neighborhood rehabilitation
- Neighborhood stabilization funding
When: Monday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m.
Where: The home of Renette Riley, 4336 Flora Ave., Kansas City, Mo. There is ample off-street parking on 44th Street, which is just south of the home.
