Come enjoy the biggest, and free, Fourth of July celebration in Johnson County at the Overland Park Star Spangled Spectacular.

This annual event kicks off at 4 p.m. July 4 in Corporate Woods. The free fireworks show ignites at about 9:30 p.m.

Bring your family, bring your picnic basket, bring your chair, and get ready to relax because this is more than just colorful bursts.

Music kicks off the celebration at 4 p.m., and there are inflatable rides. Various types of music and bands will perform, including the 35th Infantry Division Band of the Kansas Army National Guard.

The traditional Fourth of July food fare will be available including hot dogs, ice cream, funnel cakes, kettle corn, cotton candy and much more.

The rain date is Sunday, July 5.
