Several months ago, Heart of America United Way launched United Way 2-1-1 — a service that connects residents with essential community services.
Now the city of Kansas City, Mo., is launching the region’s first 3-1-1 system to put citizens in touch with local government services.
How are these systems working? What’s the impact on local governments and other organizations?
Join us for a lunch program to learn more about existing and planned N-1-1 telephone systems in the region.
When: Friday, October 13, 2006,
11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Count Basie Ballroom,
Downtown Marriott,
200 W. 12th Street,
Kansas City, Mo.
Cost: $20 per person (includes lunch)
