9-1-1 Stress
Course Description:
There is no question that PSAP personnel come under a lot of pressure in their work. 9-1-1 Stress Management will provide a basic overview of the causes of stress and burnout in the public safety communications field. The trainer will emphasize developing and maintaining a positive outlook in a difficult profession. Attendees will be challenged to decrease harmful stress and capitalize on beneficial stress. Participants will also learn to recognize various sources of stress and develop strategies to cope more effectively.

Credit: Missouri Certified Telecommunicator Training -- 6 hours
