Aircraft Disasters
Course Description:
No matter what the situation, any emergency involving an aircraft can result in a flood of incoming 9-1-1 calls as well as a tremendous increase in radio traffic. This four-hour course will give an overview of aircraft disasters that have occurred in the U.S. and what was required of the public safety agencies in the areas where they happened. Tips on handling 9-1-1 calls regarding aircraft disasters will be provided as well as suggestions on questions to ask if called from a plane that has been hijacked.
