Course Description:
This three–day workshop contains instruction and exercises that cover material specific to communications center supervision. Topics include roles and responsibilities; skills, functions and duties of a supervisor; transition issues/expectations for new supervisors; gaining recognition as a leader; hints for new supervisors; listening skills; employee feedback; constructive counseling; performance evaluations; liability issues; and stress management techniques for supervisors.
