Negotiation Training for Telecommunicators
Course Description:
Keeping a situation from escalating from dangerous to devastating is a serious responsibility. This 16-hour course, conducted by an FBI agent, is a condensed version of the hostage negotiation training offered to law enforcement. Through case studies and role playing, training will cover fundamentals of negotiation, stress, crisis and suicide intervention, active listening skills and legal issues. This course will not certify participants as trained negotiators.
