Radio Verbalization
Course Description:
Being understood is key for telecommunicators to get field responders the information they need. This four-hour course uses recordings of radio traffic with police, fire and EMS field personnel to focus on verbalization by the dispatcher. By reviewing actual radio transmissions in situations ranging from mundane to critical, the instructor will provide valuable information to allow the students to improve their communications skills and improve their professional images on the radio.
