The Challenge
During July and August, take the bus or carpool, vanpool, telecommute, bike or walk to work — anything except drive alone. Track your miles-reducing activities over a two-month period using our easy online tool, earn points, and see how much air pollution you prevent — both individually and as an organization. We're off to a great start, commuters! As of July 18 we have:
• reduced 9,502 driving trips
• avoided 186,819 miles of driving
• saved 8,896 gallons of gasoline
• prevented 172,795 pounds of harmful emissions
• saved $101,069
