Report your alternative transportation trips using the "Commute Tracker" button once you've logged in to your Carpool Connection account. See below to find out how many trips or points you must earn to be eligible for our weekly and monthly prize drawings throughout the contest.

Weekly prizes

Prize drawings will be done on Friday of each week. Participants who have logged at least one trip that week are eligible, and winners will be notified by e-mail. The first weekly prize drawing will take place on Friday, July 11, and will include any trips reported starting July 1. Who's won prizes so far?

Weekly prizes include:

• lunch bags
• tote bags
• digital tire pressure gauges
• travel mugs
• RideShare caps

Monthly prizes

The monthly prize drawings will take place on Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 29. To be eligible, participants must log a minimum of 30 points for the month. Prizes include:

• Two basic memberships each month to the Better World Club (an automotive club like AAA but with a robust environmental focus) (July and August)
  
  
• One 4 GB iPod Nano (August only)
  
  
• One $50.00 gift card per month to Hallmark Insights, which can be redeemed at a variety of retailers, restaurants and specialty services (July and August)

Team awards

At the end of the Green Commute Challenge, selected teams will receive the first ever Green Commute awards! The awards will be given in these categories:

• Highest total points – Small employer (less than 200 employees)
• Highest total points – Medium employer (200-999 employees)
• Highest total points – Large employer (1,000+ employees)
• Top normalized score – Total points divided by number of team members
