For Take a Break Company Coordinators
- Participants must be part of a team, and you’ll need a team code to sign up. You can get your team code from Darrin Dressler (ddressler@marc.org) or Joan Steurer (jsteurer@marc.org).
- We encourage you to provide additional incentives for participants on your team, such as special awards for the most points earned or the most miles saved. Be creative!
- If you are part of a large organization, you can start more than one team to encourage friendly competition at your workplace. Will the information technology department be able to save more miles than finance? Find out!
- If you have co-workers who do not use the Internet, they can participate
by completing a paper form.
Please collect the forms and submit them weekly by noon the following
Monday to:
ATTN: Joan Steurer
600 Broadway, Suite 200
Kansas City, MO 64105Or fax to: (816) 421-7758
- You may add your team at any time. If you add your team mid-month, the point requirement for entry into the monthly drawing will be pro-rated for the entire team.
- Incorporate Take a Break reminders into other environmental information you send out to your employees.
- Keep employees informed of their team’s results so they stay motivated.
- Explain to participants why the program is important: cleaner air for the region, less traffic congestion and gas-cost savings.
